The  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR,  use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe,  timely and effective manner.

This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course covers the Four Steps of Pediatric First Aid and modules in:

• Pediatric First Aid
• Child/Infant CPR AED
• Adult CPR AED
• Asthma Care Training

The modular classroom-based course is designed to be flexible and allow Instructors to teach either Pediatric First Aid, CPR AED or both.

• Others responsible for children including parents, grandparents, babysitters and guardians

• Youth group leaders

Family & Friends® CPR

Classroom LearningThe AHA’s Family & Friends® CPR Course a video-based, classroom course intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR and prefers to learn in an Instructor-led or facilitated group environment. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. Family & Friends CPR is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
